The Scots’ Charitable Society of Boston
Scholarship Guidelines for Academic Year 2010-2011

Scot’s Charitable Society of Boston (SCS) Scholarships may be awarded only for Undergraduate College studies or for studies at an approved Trade School. 

Applicant must be sponsored by a current member of the Scot’s Charitable Society of Boston.

The SCS application should be completed, printed and mailed to the Chairman of the SCS Scholarship Committee, Joseph MacLeod at 65 Parkerville Road, Southborough, MA 01772 postmarked no later than April 5, 2010

The following documents supporting the Application are also required:

#1 - Most recent school-certified Grades and GPA

#2 - Letter from SCS Sponsor in support of the Applicant

#3 - Letter of recommendation from Guidance Counselor or Teacher for High School or Trade School Applicants OR from a Professor for College Applicants

The documents listed above must be mailed to the Chairman and postmarked no later than April 5, 2010.

Recipients of scholarships are requested to attend the Award Ceremony held at a location to be announced.

An Application must be completed for each Academic Year.

In any Academic Year, the number of scholarships allotted will be based solely upon funds available.

The April 5, 2010 postmarked provision will be strictly adhered to.
